Paris – September 15, 2015 – The CSTB, the French Technology Institute for Forestry, Cellulose, Wood Construction and Furniture (FCBA) and the Union of Exterior Carpentry Manufacturers (UFME) are launching the second wave of a communication campaign on NF-certified windows.
“Fenêtres NF”… two letters you can trust: a key message spread on France Télévision, BFM TV and the Web
As part of the “Fenêtres NF” radio communication campaign initiated in 2014 and the TV and Internet campaign of the first half of 2015, this new campaign will be seen on:
- BFM TV and France Télévision channels from September 21 to October 11,
- The Internet in a number of advertising spaces from October 1 to 31.
Three humorous commercials to encourage homeowners to renovate with NF-certified windows
Starting on March 21 and lasting for three weeks, viewers of France Télévisions channels (France 2, France 3 and France 5) and BFM TV will discover a funny mini-saga to raise awareness among homeowners, specifiers and tradesmen about the benefits of NF-certified windows.
Using quirky humor, three skits show a couple living in comfortable housing that seems comfortable but who are in reality faced with annoyances due to the poor quality of their windows:
- Energy costs
...today’s three main reasons for replacing windows!

“Fenêtres NF” certification is a voluntary quality procedure for window manufacturers, suitable for any type of material.
This is a trusted quality mark certifying that the characteristics of a window were tested, point by point, using the most demanding standards, to accurately determine its performance level for criteria including wind resistance, air infiltration, thermal insulation, water tightness, acoustic insulation, opening and closing resistance, mechanical testing and operating force.
NF-certified windows are tested by an independent certification body during manufacture and two annual comprehensive production audits.

This new communication campaign to promote NF-certified windows is coordinated by the media consulting agency Good Angel Media, specialized in buying media and non-media advertising space.
